The Sikla group, an international business conglomerate that operates in the industry, has just purchased land with an approved logistics project of more than 30,000 square meters (m2), located in Palmela, in the district of Setúbal. The transaction was closed for 1.7 million euros, according to doValue Portugal, which participated in the sale.

“This acquisition was a very important step. SiklaLusa is committed to its sustainable growth in several markets, namely in Portugal, and this operation represents, therefore, a relevant milestone in the affirmation of its presence in Portugal”, comments the management of SiklaLusa, a company specialized in metallic structures for industry and construction that integrates the international business group Sikla, responsible for around 500 jobs.

For João Ribeiro, Director of Real Estate at doValue Portugal, quoted in a statement, “the potential for development and growth of a logistics project of this size will boost enormous economic and financial dynamism throughout the surrounding region, consolidating this area as an unavoidable logistics reference in Portugal".
